My name is Christina Marshall, I am currently a young developing artist studying at Chelsea College of Arts. I have always been passionate about art and I have loved doing art ever since I was 8. I love challenging myself when doing my art pieces and I am planning to challenge myself even more. I enjoy being ambitious and experimental within my art practice. I throughly enjoy being a mixed media artist, I love doing paintings which come in the form of abstractions and when I do paintings I like being free-minded and I never restrict myself at all. I love doing large scale paintings to be honest and adding different elements of materials from fabrics, knitting that I have created, text, photographs I have taken and seeing how they combine together as one. I have been inspired by so many different types of artists such as Jackson Pollock, Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, David Hockney, Susan Aldworth, Samantha Pugsley, Bobby Baker, Louis Wain, Peter Liveridge (I have so many more to name).
My dream is to become a fine artist and to exhibit my work internationally with so many famous galleries within New York, London, France etc. I just enjoy working within the art industry because it always pushes me to be who I am and not feel scared or shy and be confident. When it comes to art it allows me to become more free minded, open minded and work with people who are like-minded and see what their interpretations are.
