Who doesn’t love a break from studying? I’m going to give you the top five places to go for lunch, walking distance from London College of Communication but keeping in mind the student bank balance.
Nando’s is my ultimate favourite place to eat and I don’t think I’m the only one. A meal will cost you roughly £10 and the Elephant and Castle Nando’s is one of the quickest restaurants to serve their food. You’ve only just filled you drink and got to your table and your food is already waiting for you! What’s not to love? And it’s literally a two minute walk from the campus, just on the other side of the round-about. 2) The Rockingham Arms (AKA Wetherspoons)
Located right next to Nando’s, The Rockingham Arms is a pub serving typical pub food. Most meals are under £10 and they’re big plates that will certainly fill you up. Who doesn’t love pub grub?

McDonald’s is more of a walk from LCC, it’s about five minutes away. I’m sure everyone is already aware of their menu and the prices. The map shows the location of McDonalds in Elephant and Castle.

Tesco is situated in the old fashioned Elephant and Castle shopping centre. Tesco meal deal costs £3 for a drink, sandwich/salad and a packet of crisps/chocolate bar. If you’re feeling flush and want to push the boat out, they also have a Krispy Kreme stand.
And finally, Greggs, which is also in the shopping centre just further on from Tesco. They have a range of sweet food, savoury hot food and cold drinks. Their 80p sausage rolls got me through some tough days in my first year.
