Easy, filling, cheap recipe. You can serve it with mash and vegetables and onion gravy.
120g/ 1 cup plain flour
240g sausages (about 8)
pinch of salt
butter/ oil for greasing the tin
Preheat the oven to 200C.
To make the batter, put the flour, eggs, milk and salt into a large bowl and beat until bubbles appear in the mixture.
Grease the tin with the oil or butter and put the sausages in with space between them.
Put the sausages in the oven for about ten minutes until they have browned slightly.
Take the pan out, pour the batter over the top and put it in the oven for 30-40 mins.
Take it out of the oven when it has risen and golden brown.
